The RTR (A) or Radio Telephony Restricted (Aeronautical) license required for the use of communication equipment in an aircraft is the prerequisite for issue of pilot license in many countries, including India.

The WPC (Wireless Planning and coordination) wing of the Ministry of Communication, Government of India conducts this examination and issues the RT license in India.

The RT exam consists of following two parts.

  • Part 1: Paper Solving & Communication Procedures (Transmission)
  • Part 2: Oral Exam (VIVA) largely based on Regulation and Navigation

Apart from CPL Holders (Pilots), RT is mandatory for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME) as well.

At Airline Prep School (ALPS), our RT Training comprises of one-on-one call practice, extensive paper solving (from oldest to latest), complete theoretical understanding & ample of VIVA practice. Equal focus is given on both parts to ensure a student’s success.

We provide RT classes for aspiring CPL Holders, AME students as well as for Part 1 (Conversion) exams.

With our outstanding results and experienced faculty, we assure you nothing but the best for your RT preparation!
