Course Duration – 3 Months For acquiring a Commercial Pilot License (CPL). The subjects to clear depend upon the individual’s decision to fly in India or Abroad. If you decide to fly in India then you shall have to clear written exams and One Written Viva Examination, which are Navigation, Technical, Air Regulation, Meteorology and Radio Telephonic. If you decide to fly abroad, then you only need to clear Navigation, Air Regulation, Meteorology and Radio Telephony in the case of CPL. DGCA Medical Checkup
1) Get class II medicals done
2) wait for assessment of medical results from DGCA
3) on receipt of assessment; you can go for Class 1 medicals.
4) Join ALPS
Please carry the following for Class II medicals
- Three passport size color photographs
- Tenth class passing certificate
- Copy of Aadhar card

For DGCA computer number you require the following:

A) Air Navigation

B) Air Meteorology
This subject deals with the Science concerned with the process of weather buildup in the atmosphere. Sub-subjects like Aviation Meteorology, Indian Climatology etc. will be covered for Air Meteorology theory.
